Follow these easy steps to apply to the event:

  1. If you worked with us last year and you have not changed your email address, we have sent you a welcome letter with some login information! Check your inbox!
  2. To create a new account or if you did not receive a welcome letter from us, go to https://www.tournamentmagic.com/cc
  3. Select 'New User? Sign Up Here'
  4. Then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the signup process
  5. Once you are logged in, you will see either a button "Apply to officiate at an event" OR you will see a list of events accepting applications
  6. Select the "Begin Application Process" on the right to apply to the Big South Event



Hotel Information: 
Complimentary hotel rooms are offered to out of town officials. These rooms will be provided to referees who stay with another working referee in our room block. We only have a specific number of rooms available and they are on a first come, first serve basis -- However, we should be able to accommodate just about everyone

 

  1. All rooms must have 2 working officials in occupancy
  2. All rooms are reserved ONLY for 3 nights, Thurs., March 29th thru Sun. April 1st with check out on Sunday morning.
  3. If you wish to stay over on Sunday night, you will need to cover that one nights charge. 
  4. All rooms will have 2 double or queen beds.
  5. Officials will be assigned to a particular hotel based on when their reservation is received. Requests for a specific location cannot be guaranteed
  6. You can request your roommate on your reservation form or one will be assigned by the CEO.
  7. Any variance from the above will mean that you are not eligible for the comp room space.

Match Fees & Payment Arrangements:
Match fees are based on level of certification. All National and Jr. National officials will receive $30 (1st or 2nd referee) for regular matches and $10 for one-game tie-breakers.  All other certification levels will receive $25 (1st or 2nd referee) for regular matches and $10 for one-game tie-breakers.

During the event, you will have a payment worksheet that must be filled out and authorized at the conclusion of each day’s play and then turned in before you depart. payment worksheets MUST be turned in to receive payment. Payments will be made on site.

Referees Meeting:
This meeting is MANDATORY for all those wishing to referee at the BSNQ. That means, you must attend. It will be held Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 9:00 PM. Refereeing assignments and other tournament information will be covered at this meeting.
