 THURSDAY, MARCH 29^TH Tournament Magic is hosting a new, improved and innovative VIRTUAL VOLLEYBALL SHOWCASE AT BIG SOUTH.

Lots of showcase events say they are different.  But this showcase really is different:

•  Players showcase their talent BY POSITION 
  •  Hitters, setters, middle blockers and liberos are on SEPARATE courts BY POSITION.  
    • Easy for college coaches to evaluate your talent in your position

•  Every court is video taped and uploaded to a web site within 7 days 
  • PLAYERS get a URL to send to college coaches of her choice

• COLLEGE COACHES DON’T HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO SEE YOU SHOWCASE YOUR TALENT. 
  • They can search the video site by position to see YOU perform.

•  MAXIMUM OF 15 PLAYERS per court
  • You get more touches so your talent can actually be seen

• Each showcase SESSION LASTS ABOUT ONE HOUR
  • NO SCRIMMAGING to tire you out before competition the next day

• DRILLS run FROM ONE SIDE of the court ONLY
  • MAXIMIZES your VISIBILITY on video
  • MINIMIZES the CHANCE OF INJURY

•  PLAYERS STAY ON ONE COURT the whole session
  • Easier for college coaches to find you and view you.

• Drills designed to show what COLLEGE COACHES want to see

REGISTRATION is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. SPACE IS STRICTLY LIMITED so we can provide a quality showcase with maximum number of contacts for each participant.

Players of all ages welcome to participate.  In fact, you can participate even if you are NOT playing at Big South.  Just follow directions to register for the showcase online.

Tournament Magic uses UNIVERSITY ATHLETE software to allow college coaches to make evaluations just like they do at the tournament the next day.

Recruiters can come watch you play in the tournament based on the notes they took the night before.

You can easily communicate with virtually every college program in the country through University Athlete.

Sessions run from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm.  We will assign you to a session and notify you by 10 pm EST on Wednesday, March 28 of your session and your court.  No pre-selection of sessions is possible.

Check In -- 4:00 PM  (Report to the Hall B)              Estimated finish time -- 8:00 PM

USAV requests that you pre-register for this event.  Registration for this try out is NOT done with the BIG SOUTH National Qualifier.  The Georgia World Congress Center will be open for players to register for the HP tryouts starting at 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 29. Athletes will go to the USAV registration area in Hall B to complete any necessary paperwork, etc. Players will not be allowed to enter the court area until 4:00 PM.

Trainers will be on site for the tryout and will provide any necessary supplies. However, ice will be limited, so any after the event “ice down” will need to be done at your hotel
